In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

This week’s Open Call List contains 31 calls for entry, 13 of which offer free submission. The list includes five separate funded photography residencies across the U.S., U.K., and Asia. It contains a wide range of exhibition opportunities, including exhibitions at major museums, exhibitions with cash awards, online exhibitions, thematic and genre-specific exhibitions, and more. The list also includes purchase awards, fellowships, and cash prizes up to $10,000, as well as additional funding opportunities for photographic projects. Finally, the list contains a range publication-related opportunities, including a photobook exhibition call, online publication opportunities, calls for print publication, Instagram features, and more.
The Jobs section contains new jobs and internships in the photo arts industry, including roles in the U.S. and U.K., hybrid and remote positions, as well as roles in darkrooms, museums, galleries, photo-based non-profit organizations, and more.
