Welcome to The Open Call List #128!

In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

This week’s Open Call List below contains 37 calls for entry, 18 of which offer free submission. This list contains a wide range of exhibition opportunities, including in-person at major galleries, festivals, and museums, exhibitions with financial support for exhibiting artists, and online exhibitions. The list also includes in a range of print and digital publications, a photobook dummy mentorship program, and multiple funded photobook publication awards. Finally, the list also includes four funded photography residencies, as well as scholarships, prizes, and multiple grants ranging up to $25,000.

The Jobs section contains jobs and internships in the photo arts industry. This week’s list includes new roles with photography festivals and galleries, as well as in higher education.
