The Open Call List #31
Calls for Entry: September 30 - October 6, 2024
Hi,
Welcome to The Open Call List #31!
In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.
Opening Remarks:
At the turn of the month, this week is busier than most. The list below contains 22 open call opportunities, 11 of which have deadlines that fall within the next seven days. (The other 11 fall later in October.) There are some especially strong photo prizes, residencies, and fellowships. Included as well are publication opportunities and opportunities to exhibit at several international festivals. Finally, of note: Nine of the opportunities below are free to enter.
Please read this note about newsletter pricing:
I make The Open Call List available for free in the spirit of maximizing accessibility in the photo world. That said, I am a one-person team and a fellow artist. If you find the list helpful and you have the means, I ask that you opt in to a pay-what-you-can subscription. Use the links below to access the sliding scale prices:
