Hi,
Welcome to The Open Call List #33!
In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.
Opening Remarks:
This week’s list contains 20 open calls, five of which are free. The list includes several book prizes, multiple residencies, opportunities to exhibit at a wide range of photography festivals across the world, as well as fellowships and awards that grant cash prizes. Of note, the jobs section in this week’s newsletter is particularly strong and includes three different darkroom-based roles, a job at Aperture, and several opportunities in photo education.
Please read this note about newsletter pricing:
I make The Open Call List available for free in the spirit of maximizing accessibility in the photo world. That said, I am a one-person team and a fellow artist. If you find the list helpful and you have the means, I ask that you opt in to a pay-what-you-can subscription. Paid subscribers receive access to ad-free monthly bonus guides. To support the newsletter and access paid benefits, use the links below to access the sliding scale prices:
