Hi,
Welcome to The Open Call List #35!
In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.
Opening Remarks:
The turn of the month is always the busiest. This week’s Open Call List contains 24 open calls, 12 of which are free to enter. Specifically, this week’s list includes several opportunities to exhibit work both in the United States and in Europe, as well as two photobook prizes, multiple residencies, fellowships, awards/grants of various sizes, a call for publication, and a photographic commission opportunity. There are also an unusually high number of jobs at non-profit arts organizations, as well as at photo-specific organizations this week.
Please read this note about newsletter pricing:
I make The Open Call List available for free in the spirit of maximizing accessibility in the photo world. That said, I am a one-person team and a fellow artist. If you find the list helpful and you have the means, I ask that you opt in to a pay-what-you-can subscription. Paid subscribers receive access to ad-free monthly bonus guides. To support the newsletter and access paid benefits, use the links below to access the sliding scale prices:
