Welcome to The Open Call List #65!

In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

Opening Remarks:
This week, I’ve worked on expanding past paid subscriber materials. Specifically, I have added nine new listings to the directory of galleries and museums that accept submissions from photographers for exhibition, representation, and acquisition. Four of the new listings are in the U.S., and five are in Europe and the U.K. As always, new listings are indicated by date added in the directory.

I have also added one new residency to the list of fully-funded residencies with darkrooms.

This week’s Open Call List below includes 23 calls for entry, 12 of which offer free submission. The list includes many exhibition opportunities in Europe and the United States. It also includes calls for virtual exhibition, print publication, several prizes that are internationally open, for students, or for U.K. residents, awards that include museum acquisition, residencies in the U.S. and Asia, photobook awards, and more.

The Jobs section of this week’s list contains jobs and internships in the photo arts industry in North America and Europe, including new listings for internships, jobs, and board positions are major arts institutions in the United States and Netherlands among other listings.
