Welcome to The Open Call List #66!

In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

Opening Remarks:
This week, I added two new institutions to directory of galleries and museums that accept submissions from photographers for exhibition, representation, and acquisition. There are now 40 institutions listed in the directory, and I will continue to expand it as often as possible.

This week, I also added one new residency to the list of fully-funded residencies with darkrooms.

This week’s Open Call List below contains 22 calls for entry, nine of which offer free submission. This list includes three fully-funded artist residencies, as well as one fully-funded research residency; awards for exhibition, museum acquisition, and more; multiple calls for students and recent graduates; calls for analog photography, alternative processes, physical prints, and more; as well as opportunities for photobook artists and photographers seeking publication. This week’s list also offers many grants and prizes, including one rare funding opportunity for up to $100,000.

Finally, the Jobs section contains new jobs in the photo arts industry, including several new positions in Canada, Australia, and the United States, among other locations. Prior roles in Europe and North America are still open for application as well.
