Hi,

Welcome to The Open Call List #74!

In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

Opening Remarks:
This week’s Open Call List contains 23 calls for entry, 17 of which offer free submission. The list includes 11 calls that involving exhibition, ranging from online exhibitions to group in-person exhibitions to solo exhibitions. This week’s list includes, in particular, a large amount of internationally-open photography awards ranging up to €35,000. Finally, the list includes 9 calls that offer publication either in a photography magazine, book, or exhibition catalog. Other opportunities includes calls for writing about photography, photobook archive submissions, and more.

The Jobs section includes several new roles at photo galleries and institutions in North American and Europe, as well as an especially large amount of fall internship opportunities.
