Welcome to The Open Call List #75!

In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

Opening Remarks:
This week’s Open Call List contains 25 calls for entry, 12 of which offer free submission. This list includes 14 opportunities that involve exhibition, including group exhibitions, solo exhibition, photobook exhibitions, virtual exhibitions, and more. Seven of the list’s opportunities involve publication in photobooks, magazines, or exhibition catalogs. Additional opportunities include a range of photo grants and awards up to €35,000, calls for alternative process, photobook archive contributions, zine awards, a funded photography residency, and more.

The Jobs section includes a range of new jobs and internships in the photographic arts industry (at galleries and non-profit organizations), positions in higher education, a photography position with the U.S. government, and more.
