Welcome to The Open Call List #91!

In this weekly newsletter, I share opportunities for photographers for exhibitions, publications, fellowships, grants, residencies, jobs, and more. My goal is to make the photography world more accessible, especially to emerging artists. While I include both free opportunities and calls for entry with submission fees, I only share opportunities that favor artists.

This week’s Open Call List below contains 30 calls for entry, 18 of which offer free submission. This week’s list includes opportunities for publication in collective photobooks, a gallery calendar, magazines, digital publications, and more. The list includes a photography commission, a photobook prize, opportunities for artists making hand-made prints, artists working in photo collage, a call for your best photo of the year, a call for your worst photo of the year, calls for analog photographers, and more. It also includes several opportunities for photojournalists, including a range of grants and mentorships. Finally, the list includes two fully-funded residencies, awards up to €15,000, and opportunities to exhibit in a wide range of major venues across the U.S., U.K., and Europe.

The Jobs section contains new jobs and internships related to photography, including roles with the press, a major U.S. sports team, with galleries and photo-based non-profits in the U.S. and Europe, as well as roles in higher education.
